The Oscars Made My Day

[i]and not because of the glittering and glamorous stars, but because it was opened and closed by my all-time favorite, my ultimate idol, the most gorgeous man on earth 
(ok, I'm still breathing, hihihi) Hugh Jackman. I know he was a stage performer before he made movies and that explains his powerful and impressive performance in that opening, but oh boy! He's sooooooooo handsome! Don't you think so?
The other thing that made the Oscars great is that my 2nd favorite actor was given the Best Actor in the Supporting Role Award. Oh yes, Heath was at his best in that Joker role. He deserved it. 
(Hey! I saw teary-eyed Angelina Jolie when Heath's family gave their speech!).
The result is somewhat expected (as for me), I was just a little surprised (and maybe disappointed) that Brad didn't win. But oh well, Sean was great, there's no denying that.

i meant to watch it but i didn't feel good so i went to bed at seven, something i never do. now i have my nap out & here i am to at midnight. did mickey roruke win. i was intersted to see if he would. i never go to the movies so really don't know a thing about them. there had been so much talk about him i wondered if he made it. hope u are feeling better & hope that little nico is doing fine. jo

glad y'all are doing good. still at your parents, i guess. i didn't really care who won but mickey has made quite a comeback from what i have heard. take care of u & nico.

Hello mapple_kisses! I have watched Oscars too and for me, all the winners really deserves it. I am glad that Kate Winslet finally won the award as a best actress. I am also happy for Slumdog Millionaire. Although I am not Indian, I am still happy for Asians to be able to recognize with that kind of occassions.
