Do you believe in saying I'll be with you forever... I just hear it a lot, believe it, then get hurt... I guess forever ended for me. If you look at it a psychological stand point you could be delusional... What are your thoughts on this, with marriages at an all time high of 60% divorce rates.

I want to believe in forever, I always think it's going to last forever. But then it ends, and it hurts... It's always like that for me. Some couples that I know have been married for over 10 years, but my relationships have never gone over 4 years... But I do want to have somebody to stay with me forever, I don't like changing, like when you get used to a person then it ends, and you find somebody else is so hard to get used to the new person, I'm always comparing to the last one, and it's so hard to get comfortable, then when I do get used to the person and comfortable being with that person it ends...it hurts so much...

true but I have yet to see a couple that lives happily ever after in all my years of living... I guess what I'm saying is I'm starting to give up hope on this idea.

"forever with you" this statement is so beautiful that makes most of people heart melt, but for me myself trusting that statement ended myself twice in pain. i do believe in forever if both people can provide the love that can keep the relationship keeps on going on. a feeling of trust of each other could be the main support for this Forever statement, a couple that will stand to the end for their existence. when this statement comes in a couple life and works out, everything gonna be so beautiful. but in conclusion i do believe in "forever"

when you are 18 forever is a long time. when you are 40 it is more reasonable.
