I'm almost finished reading this book and it's definitely been an interesting read. I'm going to be a medical student so I've often thought about medical ethics but I've never read a fictional book about a medical ethical situation. I feel that the author really handled the central issue well and from many different viewpoint.
What do you think?

I know what you mean about starting to read such long books. I had this book for almost a year before I actually started reading it. I'm just like your friends, by the end of it I was definitely crying.

I just bought this book the other day, so I haven't read it yet. I love Jodi Picoult's books though and think she is a very intelligent writer who tackles unusual subjects with care and sensitivity. I would recommend all her books. I especially enjoyed Nineteen Minutes.
