Try watching animes with English subtitles, you definitely will learn a bit just by watching and listening. Then if you feel confident enough, try jpop karaokes.

Rosetta stone is very good. I'm using a book called Japanese in 15 minutes a day. It's designed for travelers that need to learn the basics, but for me it was a good place to start.
