i think you must be happy that they are criticizing whatever you are doing.It is just jealousy that is making them behave like this. Well if you want to retaliate, you can criticize them. But it will be more fun if you increase their jealousy more by showing more.

I have neighbors like that too. I hate it because we do not have any kind of privacy here whatsoever. It drives me nuts. We stay in alot and keep the windows and doors shut. I hope we can move from here or I hope they do first. We were here first and bought our home first.

Bad neighbours can be found almost everywhere. At least in your case you know what the neighbour has in mind about you. The neighbours I had dared not sayanything to my face. Instead they talked bad about me to other neighbours and even to their visitors. Normally I do not do anything to them. In fact by doing something a neighbour like yours will have something else to talk about. Say thank you and tell the person you will think about what was said and possibly follow the suggestions. Of course you do not really have to do it. Some people like seeing us being uncomfortable. Do not give them a chance to relish it. all the best, rosdimy
