Should a blog be 6 months old to get Adsense account approved?

Hi, Is there any 6 months time frame for a blog to apply for Google Adsense. I have 2-3 blogs and applied for a Google Adsense Account and I get the same reply everytime.. But I know few blogs got approved immediately after creating the blog..So friends what do you think on this. And I heard that Google has made it rules very strict now in approving adsense account specially from Asian regions??
