do you have a savings account or have you had to dip into it now?

we have never really had much of anything in savings because we were struggling even before this so called recession (more of a depression in my book) but once in awhile we managed to save a bit over the years and then always had to dip into it when the going got tough or there were unexpected expenses. now we have nothing at all, no cushion of any kind and it is not a good feeling. so what about you?

We are the same way. We've always lived from paycheck to paycheck and never really had any extra money to save but occasionally we would be able to put some back but then something would always come up and we'd have to use it. I'm very worried because my husband is only working 4 days a week because of the economy and we have nothing to fall back on.
