I have tried many time to keep my computer table free from cluster of wires and cables. But it is not at all possible. Lot of cables which are used to connect the components of the computer, cables for internet connection etc..etc..It will not be clean more than three days. How do you keep your table?

I recently cleaned my computer desk and am trying to my best to keep it clear, it is hard like you say though. It's bits of paper and rubbish that build up for me though I have to clear it every day if I want to keep it clear.

It seems everyone is trying to keep our table clean but for the most of us, it is not possible always. I used to clean them at least once in a week. But I can not maintain the cleanliness in most of the time. First thing that will occupy my table after cleaning is some piece of paper which I will take some note with the thought of keeping the paper in some other place separately. But I will not do it.Then everyday, the number of papers will start to increase and some books will added to them. Then some electronic items related to the computer which I am using with computer very rarely.Though I am not using it often, I will not keep in its place immediately. They will get into their place only in the next cleaning operation. Thanks for your response and sorry for the too delayed reply.

As you have mentioned , if the table is clean, we are able to work peacefully though it is not a great issue. But it is hardly possible for me to keep it clean. The wires and cable which are used to connect the computer parts are only making me very tensed. I will combine them together and tag them. But I can not keep them for more than a week and I will remove the tags while making some moments in the components. If we have wireless connectivity for everything except for electricity, then the table may look clean. Then the papers. Now I am not using papers to make notes and I make notes in a note pad and I will keep them in the computer itself. But if we make note of some thing which is not related to the computer and if we need them when the computer is switched off, then it is another head ache. Thanks for your response and sorry for my delayed reply

Well my table is usually cluttered with paper, folders, pencils, and all of the other school projects. Every now and then when it gets really bad I will go through and throw out a lot of it or put the rest in my closet or somewhere else so it can build up clutter there :)

I often have 6.... or 7 coffee cups located on it, with my speakers blasting away my loud music =) Woo! I'm a computer fanatic as well, so I tend to have nothing but wires, cables, and everything every which way and what not.

I do keep my computer table clean, but not more than one day. Because there are lots of wires, lots of other devices here and there, cd, dvds, charger, pff.. lot of stuff around my computer. Sometimes i fell uneasy when my table is not clean, but when have loads of works will not see if it is clean or not..

The wires and cables are the irritating items in my table and I have tagged them together to have neat look. But as we need move the parts of computers sometime here and there, we have to remove it during that time.If we look behind the table, it is always looking like a banyan tree with the wires and cables. Then the next is the software CDs and Pouches.Though we have separate Almirah for that, I am not able to keep them in their place as very rarely I will use them. For this "rare' usage, I will keep them in the table always. But after cleaning, the table will look clean for at least three days in my case.It seems that I am far better than you as you are not able to maintain more than a day. Thanks for your response and sorry for the delayed reply.I missed this discussion .

Both of our computer desks are the most cluttered pieces of furniture in our home. You'll always see papers, pens and pencils, bills, a bottle of water, and of course a cup of coffee. I've tried so many times to keep it cleaned off, but I just keep piling things up to the point that I don't even try anymore. It seems like when I do clean it off, I can't find the important papers that I had saved, so it's just easier to keep them right there on the desk.

Yes.you are correct. The papers in which we have noted some important things may require at any time and hence I used to keep them always in the table and they themselves the reason for such worst look of our table. If we keep them in some other place, some time it is become impossible to find that again. Then I used to keep the software CD on the table, though I am not using them very often. They will be used only once in a month. But I am not able to place in its place and I have tried many time to avoid such tings. But it seems that it is not possible.Sorry for my delayed reply and thanks to you for spending your time to respond to this discussion.
