Where do you think the virus come from?

I have a big doubt that most computer virus are from the anti-virus companies. Try to think that making the computer virus needs a professional programming technology. Besides, you may not earn something from it but you have to spend long time making it. Is it worth? I think most people don't want to waste time for it. Whereas the anti-virus companies need to survive, and therefore they have to create different computer virus. Since they produce it, they are the first one to release method to kill it. This is how they can make a profit. I love China

Hi there, Yeah, viruses are always threats to our computer system. But if we pay attention carefully, the majority of viruses attacks windows system. The rumour is that viruses are made by those working with unix/linux. I am not sure it is true or not but it seems logical. As you have mentioned, there are rumours that actually the anti-virus company also contributes to the spreading of viruses.

Oh come on don't be so rude to those viruses. They don't come from anywhere, they are injected by someone for someone. Ok lemme give you an example. If a girl ditches a boy(a programmer) who loved her a lot, then the boy might give the girl a virus for her pc as a good bye gift. Now a virus is just a program, a software that is programmed to do things that we don't want our pc to do. Some of the more powerful viruses stay in the pc for a very long time, multiply, spread to other pc's through usb devices and then attack all of a sudden. I don't think you should blame the anti virus companies, they just identify a common programming code in viruses and make the virus definition. An anti virus just compares these definitions with all the files on your pc and then deletes if it finds a match. So basically to answer your question, viruses are a result of anger or hatred or revenge in the mind of a programmer... Thats what i think. LOL...

well they r written by ppl who seek profit they usually target a lil but of ppl but they end up targettin a lot of ppl happy lotting and have a nice day! :D

I also believe that antivirus company make viruses for their own sake. Way back, viruses came from accidentally made codes that can possible destroy your computer. Now, there's trojan. The possible purpose of trojans is to collect private info to infected computers that hackers sell it on black market for other means.
