I saw Coraline in 3D with my wife and daughter and it was tremendously entertaining. The last time I saw 3D movie was Captain Eo with Michael Jackson at Disneyland so this was really a treat. The graphics were amazing and the story telling was top notch. The sound was also incredible thanks to the people who work at my dream job, Skywalker Sound. Anyone else see this movie/

OMG I just went and saw this movie this weekend, and it blew me away! My BF and I had high hopes for it because the trailers were awesome and it is by the director of Nightmare Before Christmas - NOT by Tim Burton so it didn't have that SAME OLD TIRED FEEL that Burton lapses into every movie. The story was based off of a Neil Gaiman novel, which I want to pick up a copy of. It was creepy and compelling, and fun, even for adults... but I love darker stories so I was a little predisposed to liking it. I loved the animation, I am a fan of stop motion. And I REALLY loved the villain's design, as well as Coraline's personality and... well frankly, the design of each and every character. And come on, who would be better to play a little kitty cat that Keith David, with that big voice! LOVE IT! Amazing movie, I recommend it to anyone and everyone!

I saw it. I thought it was really good. I haven't seen the non 3D version though. Considering it was opening night when I saw, it wasn't too packed in the movie theatre either so it was easy to enjoy.
