hey people has anyone read the recent books from Chris....i call him that coz i love what he writes...
the first one was made in to a movie namely Eragon....the next one Eldest and the recent 2007 release is Brisingr..this series is not yet complete.. the fourth one still has to be released.. and i really dont know the title...has anyone read them all three..if yes what do u think about them...are the comparable to other fantasy things.. i meant there are a lot of them like the Wheel Of Time series...then there the banned and the banished...and so on... hw does Christopher's work fit in?
for me he has the spark of writing the unstoppable novels...i mean the ones which u cant keep down till u finish reading it...for me Eldest was a good one in all the three ones....

I loved Eragon and Eldest. I've started Brisinger but it hasn't grabbed me the same way the first two did. It may just be because I don't have a lot of free time at the moment. I'm going to try reading it again soon. Maybe it is as good as the others & I just haven't read enough yet.
I didn't care for the movie. But isn't that almost always the way with movies made from great books? They never quite capture the book's magic.

thanks for replying...
yes u r right. the movies dont really capture the gist of the book....i think its because they cant make movies gng on for hours together...so they thend to omit small details.. but then its that what matters... the etails...its like ...drop by drop a bucket fills....
what do u say?
