strip club was just depressing

so i went with my partner to a strip club on sat night, its really strange, we live less than 2 blocks from it and havne't been there in the year we've lived in our place. we were bored and decided to check it out. its pretty depressing. there were about 30 guys in there, about 10 strippers (topless only) and the waitstaff.. i love looking at women, but whenever i'd see their faces, and the look of utter and complete boredom, i'd lose interest. they did NOT want to be there and were very bad at hiding it. a few really seemed to be able to put on a good face and enjoy themselves, but most just looked annoyed.
have you been to a strip club? did you enjoy it?
PLEASE do not post about how horrible you find strip clubs or demeaning. these women CHOOSE to work there and i CHOSE to visit their location, i will not defend my actions to you.

No, such clubs are banned in my country, so ive never been to one. I pity these women, for they are doing this job to feed their families. Nobody would do it otherwise. Its a job to them, and like us, even if we find a job boring, we do it for the salary. Same applies there too. Why should they put up a smiling face when people are out there to leer at their bodies. I dont blame you for going there. If you dont, they would starve. You have done a good deed unintentionally.

Independent contractors should NEVER pay a "stage fee", "house fees" or "Tip out", it's illegal in almost every state. Clubs that require dancers (prancers too, unfortunately) to pay any fee or service charge, by law, should have a standard contract that is legally binding. course, if you sign it then your just plain old stupid, giving money away.... clubs make their money on food/booze, since they stopped paying the strippers, who are the "hook"... Paid dancers:)Now those really were the Good Ole Days in the skindustry!
THE GOOD OLD DAYS OF EXOTIC DANCING:
No dancing outside the bar
No lap dances
No table dances
No champagne room
No VIP lounge
No funny $ money
and we made much better money than the girls do now. Thousands a day compared to (now) hundreds...yea, we had it much better.

One thing I don't like strip clubs is that they always try to rob your money. Those strippers keep on asking you for dances, and I have refuse one by one. Sometimes, they even ask me why I won't want them to dance. I simply said, I had seen enough. No need to dance for me.
