how many fees are they going to have on sellers before they realize that its not working? they have taken away the ability to rate a bad buyer, they added extra fees, they limit the amount of shipping you can charge. did you know about the ebay boycott? "A weeklong eBay (EBAY, Fortune 500) boycott initiated by sellers upset with fee and policy changes that began rolling out last week ended Monday with uncertain results." http://money.cnn.com/2008/02/25/smbusiness/ebay_boycott_wraps.fsb/ i have pretty much stopped selling on ebay. i've been using alternatives and finding my products elsewhere. are you still an active seller?

I have been slowly pulling away from selling on ebay. I think its nuts the charges that they have and not only that, they still charge me $2 a month. I love shopping on ebay, but am trying craiglist and overstock more now.

It has been going down hill for awhile. At a time when a lot of people need to sell things they jack the listing fees and selling fees to take advantage of the disadvantaged. The problem is they have no real competition. I wish there was another site to use. I use to sell smaller valued items and it was a good way to move some inventory but I don't bother anymore because with all the fees by the time I get paid it isn't worth the time and trouble. It has also forced people into charging ridiculous amount for shipping to try and make up some of what ebay is taking.

I stopped selling on eBay about six years ago. I found the whole thing to be such a disappointing mess overall it wasn't worth my time.

I decided to sell some items on ebay and thought to myself I could make some money, I made around £600 and ended up paying about £70 in fees to ebay alone without deductions for paypal, I think I am going to calm down and stop using it so much.
