Sunday Blue law is when the state prohibits the sale of alcoholic beverages on sundays. ONly 5 states are currently abiding by that very nice and common sense law, but the states are now wanting to trash the law....to improve the states economy! Buy more alcohol...improve our states economy! Yeah, right, anyone in these states where this law has been law for years and years and years knows that if they want to drink on sunday, they always know to buy on Saturday so it isn't going to effect the economy. So these states lawmakers want to spend the states money on their salaries and all the promotion and whatever else, to trash this law....that will be of no help to anyone, but will be an increase to the state's spending to pay for this whole thing. http://news.yahoo.com/s/time/20090223/us_time/08599188034000 Go figure!
