Do you think mylot would be as popular is it didn't pay you for posting??

I am a new member so i haven't been on this website for years but i am curious to know why people post on this website instead of just making money which seems to be what most people post because of. So do you think that you would be as active on this website if it didn't pay anything for posting and instead relied on the website itself as an incentive to post??

It's not that impressive graphically and it's slow to load so I probably wouldn't use this site much if it didn't pay. But then again if it didn't pay people would probably post more quality discussions, as people posting any rubbish just to make money wouldn't be here.
