Yay!!! Bukisa has changed payment policy. Minimum payout is now $10 or you can set it to $25 if you want to.
Bukisa is an article submission directory. It doesn't pay upfront, but allows you the option to allow others to syndicate your articles if they wish. If an article get syndicated of course you get more exposure. More exposure means more money! All in all I'm very much happier with the exposure and ratings I'm getting Bukisa than I am with Associated Content. I think it has a lot to do with what type of articles you produce.
The index has dropped from $3.95 per thousand views to $3.65 per thousand views, but is still higher than any I've found, and with the new minimum payout I actually have a chance of getting paid in the nearer future.
Are you a Bukisa participant? How happy are you with the program?

This is the first I have heard of it. I am going to check it out right now. Do you get paid anything for referrals? I know Associated Content doesn't pay for referrals and doubt this one does either, but that would be nice!

This is good news about the minimum payment. I was actually put off by writing for them due to such a high min payout, but now things are not as bad. I shall have to upload some articles soon. I think triond and associated pay is pretty useless and I earn way more from helium than both these two put together, and thats just for pageviews and not upfront payments. I like the way articles can be short at 250 words and therefore should be able to do a few each day. With the new lower payout you only need around 3000 pageviews to get paid each month and as the site has a reasonably high pagerank of 4 it should be getting a decent amount of traffic.

I noticed today that the index went back up to $3.72. I do promote my articles everywhere I can think to promote them, but Bukisa having a high page rank definitely is a plus.
