I do self-portraits all the time. I look at it this way, I'm the best person for the job of knowing what I want in a shot. If you have a certain pose or look you want to do, it's easier just to try it yourself. I think it's fun just because I get to do my hair and makeup and play around with the camera. I love doing vintage style photos. I enclosed an image of a vintage self-portrait. It's fun to play around with different looks.
