What would you do After 32 Years? Check out my crazy story!! Totally True!

For years, my brother, aunt, and I have been looking for my real father. My parents got divorced when I was about 5 or so. It was a relationship that ended really badly. Any, years went by and I always wanted to find him. To see if he was alive, or if i had siblings, whatever...
when I was 14 my mother met the most amazing man in the whole world. He very quickly became my Daddy. what a wonderful man he was. The two of them were just so wonderful together and he really loved her so much. ten years later they both passed away.
So anyway, a few weeks ago i am home doing much of nothing on a Sunday night. My brother calls me and says, you need to log into myspace right now. I am like why i don't even have a myspace. He is all freaked out saying so what just go on there right now. I do it, and then he says to put in his name. I do that and see a face that looks very familar to me. I clicked on it, and it was my face looking back at me. My brother has found our father on Myspace!!! After 32 years, there he was, right there online!!
I was so shocked! i just knew it was him!! i knew it in my heart and soul!!! so being that my brother has a myspace, he sent this man with the face that looks like mine a note!
At 5:30 in the morning my phone rings. It's my brother and he says he guess who i just talk to? me still sleeping said ummm do you know what time it is man??? he said oh come on guess!! LOL i said i am not guess this time of morning, tell me or I am hanging up!! He said he sis, say Hi to your father.... I then heard that face that use to put me to sleep in my dreams when I was a little girl... It was my Father!!! After 32 years and thousands of dollars spent, We found our father on myspace...... How would you want this story to end if it was you????

you want to hear the crazy part about that. He said he was talking to his friends and that friday they said if you are really trying to find your children then you need to get a myspace page. he opened one on friday, and my brother found him that Sunday. now that's just crazy isn't. We have been looking for him for years, and trust me, he didn't have one before. so far things are going really well. we talk all the time getting to know each other. i am loving it

Oh, what a lovely story, and well done your brother for recognising him as your father. I'll bet it was a shock initially but it must have been wonderful to hear his voice again.
I think the story is going to end exactly the way you want it to, or your father wouldn't have taken the trouble to contact you in the first place. As for me, I've never been in that situation but there's a young guy locally who just found his father after eighteen years. The hit it off just great, and he's found he has five step-brothers and sisters. I've never seen him look so happy as he does now, and that happened about a year ago. His life is fulfilled, at last, as I hope yours will be. You can't wipe the smile off his face, actually! lol.
Brightest Blessings and all the luck in the world are wished for you and your brother, and of course your father. I hope you all find what you're looking for!

is this really true? i think it is wonderful.. be with him take care of him if you want... give a happy ending no matter what..

You found him finally after years of searching.
And you wanted to meet up with him to catch up on things, right?
Then end the story by setting up a meeting with him!
What are you waiting for?!?

Hey momma! OMG! That is so incredible! I have read that people have found
people on myspace, but I only half believed it! How wonderful to find
your Father after all those years and he is alive and well and to talk
to him! I am so happy for you and your brother! What a wonderful thing
to have happen for you both! I hope that the rest of the story will be
as great as this beginning is! I hope that you are going to tell us that
you will be seeing him soon! I know that this must be something that you
truly never thought would happen after waiting and wondering for so long!

Hello Momma... seeing that this was posted about three weeks ago, I am curious to hear what other developments have happened between you, your brother and your dad. When I was reading your post, I was wondering if your dad was also doing the same thing those last 32 years and reading what you wrote back to another mylotter's response, I am quite glad and relieved that he was as well.
I hope you and your brother get the answers that you have been asking all these years. Congrats and good luck!

hey SaintAnne,
things have been going really well so far. we talk to each other just about every day. we are working on having him come to the states in the next couple of months so he can meet his grandchildren. and of course to met me and my brother again after 32 long years.

How wonderful of a story! Also, how amazing that after all your searching, all you had to do was log into myspace. That is fabulous. Do you intend to meet him anytime soon? I hope so. I have to say that I would want a happy ending!

I thought it had a bad ending. but the story is unique, no lie. I am sorry about the thousands spent though. But I am so glad that you found him and you speak and all. we all need our kin near us when we can. Isn't that smart of him to start up the MySpace page though? unique situation.

Hello my dear friend. I read your personal experience with keen interest. The more I read, the more I want to read till the end of it. It is such a special experience of yours and so touching. While I feel so sorry for the loss of your dear mother as well as your stepfather, I am very happy that you have finally found your real father through myspace.
