I got this situation with the people that live upstairs from me. So I live in a two-family house and I finally got rid of my landlord's ex wife with her noise and drama..the new people moved in the day after thanksgiving and ever since they been here its been nothing but day after day of noise. I don't mean the normal noise like I dropped the remote. I mean four kids running wild and riding bikes through the house, the chick up there runs a babysitting service so any given day there are 10 screaming babies up there, her boyfriend is an idiot who took time out in his day to get my number from his friend and is pretending he is his friend talking about what he wants to do to me, and they just behave like they are the only ones here. They wake my child up every morning and I just found out they take part in making it hard for me to put him to sleep...so I got some options..
A. I could flip out and tell them just how I feel
B. Call my landlord and tell him how I feel while these idiots are presesnt
C. Turn my stereo on full blast and go out shopping.
D. Ignore them and let them do what they wanna..I am so not prepared to do that!
What would you do if you were me? These people have it in their minds that they can do what they want and even as I type this, it sounds like the children are being told to make as much noise as possible..

How about playing something to really bug them, like Barry Manalow, or The Partridge Family, or something equally sappy? After a few hours of that at full volume they will be screaming and pulling their hair out from the sickening sugar sweetness of it.
Or you could just tell the cops they are running an unlicensed child care operation and they will be closed down. I highly doubt they have a license.

I thought about that...after they woke me up with a disco experience last night around nine and let it blast until about three, I decided to go ahead and find something equally annoying just to get back at these idiots...

I'd call the cops if the music is after 11 and tell the cops that your child needs to sleep and the noise is disturbing him. If the idiots don't fly straight they will get their sorry as$es arrested for disturbing the public. LOL It would be great to see them being led away in handcuffs.

it sounds like she is running a business out of her house. your landlord is not going to like the issuance issues.Day care must also be license. depending on the state some will allow a few kids without licences.you may want to just drop a line to the landlord.your landlord will thank you for giving him a heads up to any issuance issues, if someone sue some body they always go for the deepest pocket they can find and in all likelihood that would be your landlord.just by you telling him, he would not be able to say in court that he was unaware of the business she is running.
