Shiva-ratri is the great holy day in hindu society and country. It comes a year. We believe after the day winter season ends and summer season begins. Shiva is god of god/father and all human being,animal and plants gaurdian. We celebrate Shiva and Parvai wedding day. I love this day more than dashin and other festival. Now a days this day is also celebrate in europe and other country where hindu religious and rituals lives.Whole night glows with fire or hotter than any other day cause of flame burn to warm shiva.
How do you feel about shiva-ratri.

Well, Shiva ratri is amazing and a fantastic religious day for hindus. Staying awake the whole night by chanting Lord's shiva's powerful mantra realy benefits everyone who really performed the ritual. The philosophy behind this auspicious day is amazing. And everything done during the 'pooja' on shivaratri has its own meanings and as I know, its a beautiful celebration.
