Dear Mylotters, how is everything going with you these days?
I got a problem here.
As we all know, it takes around 15 minutes to drop sleep since we lie in the bed. And sometimes I might spend more time for this period. So I was wondering what I can do to kill this time?
Of course, it is best to do something which could help my sleep.
Then, what do you suggest?

Well you must not feel bad about this, I takes me over an hour or more to drop to sleep...Well a friend told me this is because I think a lot...Na said whenever you get something to your mind aware of it...drop it...not to think of anything...
Though it worked for sometime...
But you know even today I couldn't...
Have a nice tiem

Perhaps, it is better not to think anything before sleep. You too, have a nice time.*_*

It used to be that I couldn't sleep more than an hour in a row, but now I have a ritual. Every night no matter what time it is (unless it's something ridiculous like 4am) I stop working half an hour or so before I go to bed. I have a cup of cocoa and watch T.V. or read a book and then I'm all ready for bedtime. Used to be I would stop working and go to bed right away. This wasn't useful. My brain was racing and thinking of work that needed to be accomplished.

IN my opinion, it is best to stop working at least one hour before sleeping.
Also I don't think a cup of coca would help sleep, like wise, it may make me excited.
Maybe we should have some good habits. hah~
Thanks.

I have similar problem these days. As drawing to the end of the month, we are hard working late at night to catch the minimum pay. When in excitement, either physical or mental, it takes longer time to enter sleep. I guess it is no issue if we are back at normal pace. Stop mylotting at an earlier time, and get a bit relaxed, when feel like sleep, we will be much quicker going into sleep.

Hard working somehow will harm health. You'd better have a good rest after that time.
Thank you for your response.

Hey,
I have this same problem of not being able to fall asleep immediately on lying on bed... its not much of a problem.. most of the times i just wait for the sleep to come...if i were to do something during the time, the again i would need 15 minutes after that to fal asleep...
So What i usually do is, I review whatever has happenned in the day in my mind... I think if i have offended anyone or done anything wrong during the day... if so, i will make plans to rectify it the next day..
Something to keep my mind occupied while i slowly fall asleep...
Hope this helps

It sounds reasonable. I should clear my mind before sleep. I will have a try.
Thanks.

I like to read a simple book. Nothing to complex because then my brain will be too active and I won't ever fall asleep. The reason I like to read is because eventually it tires my eyes and dries them out a little bit. After this I always feel like sleeping.

To read is really a good idea.
Thank you for your response.
