(Well, I wrote this today. And I figured instead of just writing it to delete it, I might as well let it be heard by people. I hope you enjoy it) Titled : Lost at Sea I feel as if I'm a captain of a ship But I do not know which way to head I grab the helm by the tightest grip And yell down, "Full throttle straight ahead!" I'm lost in this giant ocean of blue, All I want is the promise to find some land. I feel hated by everyone on my crew, Because there is no sight of a beach of sand. As these days go by will I safely reach the shore Will I finally be ok? Or shall I forever this ocean explore In this torturous boat, where no one would want to stay. I close my eyes as the warm ocean wind blows Thinking of a place that would bring me joy I ponder of how I would feel if I were to jump below, But am interrupted by the words, "Land Ahoy!" I come to my senses and jump to my feet, With tears rolling down the side of face. As heading towards land, I finally feel complete, Released at last, from this hell, as land I finally embrace.
