AN idea Home

I want a bungalow type of house, with one and a half stories. I want mostly of the living spaces on the ground floor and the masters bedroom and guest rooms on the upper floor. It has to have a low-pitched roof and horizontal shape, and red-roof tiles. I don't want it to have hallways so the rooms are interconnected. I like it to have heavy carved wooden doors. I also want it to have large windows, with slliding doors leading to the patio. It should have an emphasis on openness and efficient use of space. I also want it to be overlooking the city or the ocean.

I am actually house-hunting at the moment, and I am looking for something on the outskirts of town, semi-rural. I want to be able to have a good-sized garden, which is not over-looked, space for a vegetable patch, a workshop and some sheds. I would like a woodburning stove, because they make a house so cosy, and the way fuel prices are going are cheap to run. I'd also like a kitchen which is big enough to sit in. I would also like plenty of room to park off the road....
