celebrities at the academy awards and their flaunting their wealth

i watched the red carpet event before the awards and was sickened by the banter of the stars and the people interviewing them. all that was important was whose dress they were wearing. valentino, ives st. laurent and on and on. in a time when most of us cannot even afford a movie ticket i find it disgusting that these celebrities have the gall to flaunt this wealth and privledge. if we cannot afford to see their movies then where will they be? a little humbling never hurt anyone. i just think they should get their heads out of the clouds and realize what the rest of us are going through.
