Weird encounter with a stray cat

I can be considered as a cat lover.But a strange incident happened to me yesterday. I was with two friends(we were filming something for a competition at a carpark's staircase) and this black and white cat came up the stairs.My friends,being cat lovers too,went and touch the cat,but the cat only seemed interested in me.It ignored my two friends and walked straight to me and stop in it's track when it sensed my repellent towards her/him.Despite that,the process of walking towards me and stopping was repeated.Normally,I wouldn't have mind if any other cat does that to me,but this particular cat were really weird.It was looking straight into my eye all the while I was alone with it.My friends and I were in a rather strange building and it was already dark.In the end I got really freaked out and run home leaving my friends alone. After the incident,one of my them told me that she too had felt something weird about the building and that particular cat.I don't believe that this incident has anything to do with super nature or stuff like that,but it was just really weird.
