mystery shopping

Hi,
I tried to search for information about mystery shopping. I didn't find any on the discussions. I am not sure if I searched wrong or maybe there isn't any. Anyways I would like to know if anyone has found a mystery shopping company that works. I have struggle to find one and lost money on some sites hopping they would pan out. Nothing worked out for me. I am still searching to find a site that can help me get paid for what I love. So can you please tell me your experiences as well as companies and/or the sites so I may contact them. Thanks in advance.

Hi, thank you for your response. I never really thought of contacting the companies themself. I guess I assumed they give there business to companies to do there mystery shopping so I wouldn't have any luck contacting them. But it is def. worth a shot. It isn't a bad idea. Worse comes to worse all they do is say they can't help me. Take care!

I have thought about trying Mystery Shopping before, but everywhere I have looked, it seems like too much trouble. They want you to write down exact times and save receipts, which I have no problems with, but some of the rules they have seem a bit much for such little pay. Also, seems they would specify many things that would cause one's work to be rejected and thus not pay you for the assignment.

thank you for your response. I agree about there beign so many things that could get you rejected. I also noticed it is usually specfic places that each company caters to, so you won't get alot of different places but alot of one place. I guess I just wanted to try it. But of the sites I have seen I notice the pay doesn't really cover much. Maybe just the gas to get there and the cost of food if you are eating.
