Character versus Physical Attraction???

would you date someone who had all character traits you wanted but wasn't physically attractive to you?
well its okay with me if hes not that really good looking as long as there is something in him that i like, maybe not his face, but i like the way he dressed up, or he smells good and so clean to look up.. that would be fine..
and character really matters on me.. i hate men if they were so arrogant, and too frank,, i dont like that.

I always count physical appearance! hahaha! I mean, not very handsome as long as there is some connection or attraction for me.
I haven't tried dating someone whom I didn't have any feelings even for the first date....When someone is neat and clean, it always makes me see him as handsome! Cheers! LOL![/i]

I agree with you but if the person has a very bad attitude, hmmm....no chance for me too! It should be balance!

Character is always good than physical attraction but the thing and people follow the formula that is they get attract physical attraction so it should not be like that.
I give and prefer character than physical attraction.

you are right humorous type of person is so nice to be with, they can make you smile, brighten your day.. its like you will forget all your worries your bringing.

hmm... this is great question.i think a nice balance would be preferable. i have found a lot of times that a great personality can make a person super attractive.i have met guys that weren't intially very cute but then i talked with them and got to know them and i was like wow! they really are interesting. i want to get to know them more. then on the other hand i have met guys that are very attractive and then when i got to know them i was like no way! their personality made them ugly.

actually ive experienced that one also.. on the first time of meeting this person, its like i dont like him, there is something on him that i dont like, but the next time you talk with them, its like, oh i think his okay or his nice, like what they said, "know me more before you think anything about me".. *smiles ... LOL

I can't live with someone without the character traits I admire. Looks doesn't matter if you're old. Looks can wither as we age but the personality that we like in our partner stays. Besides, if your partner is very good-looking then you have a lot of rivals for him/her. ^_^

I look at it this way. you see a handosme guy walk in with an average guy. After they speak though the handsome guy might not be so handsome anymore and the average guy might be more handsome. I count the type of person they are. the outside is nice but they do have to let there personality show sometime and it might not be so pretty.
