What do you think about Rihanna forgiving Chris Brown?

What do you guys think about women forgiving their abusive boyfriends/husbands? I think that if he does it once and is forgiven, he will do it again especially if he is not getting punished for it and is forgiven. He will just take advantage and will think that he is always gonna be forgiven therefore he will keep doing it. Rihanna is a public figure and she sets an example for many young girls i really hope she makes the right decision.
