I'm a big snacker and i would like to know what are the healthiest snacks you guys recommend other than fruit. I usually eat the nuts and chocolate packs. They are very good and they give me tons of energy but i don't know if it's very healthy to eat nuts and chocolate every single day. What do you guys think?

While nuts do contain a lot of protein, they also contain a lot of fat. Small amounts are okay, but it's easy to get carried away with them. A good alternative to the "normal" nuts is soynuts. Popcorn (without all the butter) is a good and healthy snack. Spray with a little I Can't Believe It's Not Butter for the buttery flavor without all the fat.

Popcorn is one of my most recent, favorite snacks. They make very tasty seasonings that you can put on them now too and it only adds a few calories!

Chocolate is the big enermy, my friend You shall know that 6pcs chocolate biscuits is equal to 320 calories, which mean you will gain 14kg in one year if you take 6pcs per day. And one chocolate bar is about 280 calories. Anyway, there are still some suggestion if you cant live without chocolate, you need to take some green tea and do more exercise to aviod gain much weight. Overweight is not good for health Source: http://healthcare-cancer.blogpot.com/2009/03/snake-to-make-you-fat.html

A couple of great snacks --- get one of the bigger size dixie cups, cut a banana in thirds. Buy some popscicle sticks at a craft store. Stick a stick down in each banana put in the cup. Then mix up fat free, sugar free banana or vanilla pudding according to pkg. directions. Pour the pudding down in the cup until banana is covered. Put in freezer. Great snacks! Just tear off the cup and you have a low cal, low fat snack. Another one - mix a box of choc. cake mix with 1 can of pumpkin and 1 cup of water. Pour in cupcake cups - Bake according to directions on the box. (I bake mine a little longer) I know in Weight Watchers points it is worth 1 point. Try them and enjoy!

During the summer it is so much easier to eat fruit, as it seems to taste better and makes you feel good....nuts is a great snack, but you definitely dont want to over do it with them, they may be beneficial but they have alot of fat content. I like to have the 100 calorie packs of things to snack on between meals, whether it be a snack cake, or granola packs, or even cookies, as long as is in moderation that way I feel like I still get to cheat but I am not over doing it. good luck!!

I would say nuts are extremely healthy as well as raw fruits and vegetables. Snack on those all day and stay away from the processed junk and you will feel great.

I'm always looking for new healthy snacks and asking those I love for suggestions. Some of my favorite, healthy snacks are very high in protein. For snacks, I often eat almonds, Fiber one bars, egg beaters, a hard boiled egg, string cheese, yogurt, etc. Once in a while I'll eat a 100 cal pack or something along those lines - but I don't feel like they keep me full very long. I think it's perfectly fine to eat nuts every day. Are you eating almonds? I think they're the healthiest!
