I really like green Eggs and Ham, that's probably my favorite. I also like One fish, two fish and Hop on Pop. Personally, I like the Sleep Book as well, but it'too hard to read for a bed time story. For a Suess book, it's actually very long. I have always enjoyed reading Dr seuss books. The kids like the rhyming and it makes me focus, iotherwise i'll get toungue tied.

I always loved Dr. Suess and it is hard to pick one book that I loved more than others. I always thought Are You My Mother was a Dr. Suess book but I might be wrong, but I love the Thorax book and the Sneeches.

I liked "Are You My Mother?" as a kid. Green Eggs and Ham was funny too though. I like how the rhyming went and all the crazy looking people they had in those books.

Oh, The Place You Will Go and The Lorax are two of my favorites. I also have fond memories of The Eye Book from childhood, making it probably my very favorite. I'm a Seuss Fan! I used him and his books a lot in my teaching career.

I like Oh the Places You Will Go. I wasn't exposed to Seuss until I was older because my Mom refused to read them to me... She got all tongue tied and therefore wouldn't read them. LOL So I had to wait until I could read them to myself and by then I was on to far more complex things. So other than the movies on TV I was probably 15 or 16 before I got exposed to Seuss and it was Oh the Places You Will Go. One of my older friends read it as her Valedictorian "speech" for her class' graduation ceremony. Later we read The Sneetches, and watched the TV special (also directed by Chuck Jones) in American History while learning about racism and discrimination. Just a side note, my favorite Seuss movie always was and probably always will be the half hour, Chuck Jones How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

I don't really remember very many doctor suess books. I liked The Cat in The hat, though and I think I liked green eggs and ham, he does have some very good books for children that rhyme so keep the imagination going and I agree with the first responder in that it's good for language development.
