...When you first heard a song, what is the first thing you like most???it's tune/beat or the message itself???There are some songs that has a nice beat but poor in lyrics, there are also some songs that has a good content but the beat they used are from 1960's...

When I listen to a song, the lyrics have to sound good with the beat.

That depends on the musician and the lyricist. If the musician has a good talent then the music is always good. If the lyricist is an experienced one then the lyrics are also good. If the song is composed by both good musician and a good lyricist, then the song obviously will be good one. Sometimes new artists also give good music and lyrics.

The beat of the song is definitely my favorite part... especially when it comes to the songs with a really good beat, but really sucky or annoying lyrics. If it's a song I never heard before, I usually listen to the beat, and if it's something really catchy, I start to pay attention to the lyrics.

To be honest,I like the beat of the song best.A nice beat of the song can make one person feel happy and relaxed. In fact,a song with good beat but bad content,we can change it into good lyric and re-sing.Beat is the heart of a song. The content of a song may not be the ture feeling of the song. All above is my view of the song, enjoy your music.Aha
