My cat Sasha

Sometimes, when I think about it, it is scary how much I love my cat. I've had her for about seven years. She is a Calico and such a prissy girl! She is mostly orange and dark gray with white on her chest and paws. She has beautiful, hypnotic green eyes. And she has an orange diamond-shape on her forehead. She cuddles with me most nights, which my boyfriend doesn't particularly like. She will curl up next to my arms or legs. And she has a cutest little meow. My boyfriend sometimes talks about how he wishes I loved him like I love my cat! Is all this unnatural?

No, my daughter has had her cat for 16 1/2 years. They are the best of pals. My cat always wants to be near me, especially at night. I finally came up with a solution for sharing a bed with mate and cat. I took a plastic garden chair (not very big) and put a bed pillow on the seat and then covered the chair and pillow with a towel. I then put the chair next to me on my side of the bed. My cat loves to sleep in the chair and I dangle my hand next to her until I fall asleep. It may be that your cat has already set a pattern of sleep and won't want to change. They are creatures of habit. I am glad that everyone in our family each has a cat and we all love cats.
