Can't you read the description?!...

The comments that people leave under the videos in youtube can often get really annoying. The haters, hecklers, bullies and spammers really abuse the fact that people can't see them and don't know who they are by saying anything they want. How un-intelligent can people rally get?
The most annoying to me are comments that try to emphasize something, give certain 'facts', complaining or asking things that are already written on the description section (it's on the right-hand side of the video, in case you don't know). Some people even get really angry, especially if someone replied to them. I mean, come on people, please READ the description. It's understandable if the video uploader didn't tell anything, but most uploaders explain if they're lip-synching, parodying, if it's their own stuff, etc. If you have time to write up a comment, how hard can it be to read the info.
There are instances the uploaders edit the description AFTER someone comments about the video, but there're still those idiots who just like to leave a piece of their 'illiterate' mind again and again. This sometimes can get ugly, which I applaud youtube for giving the option to disable comments, but this makes it hard to those who want to genuinely praise or thank the video uploader.
So, are you the one who reads the description, or the one who just don't bother? How do you feel about them?

I know exactly how you feel.
I used to upload a lot of videos of my friends and I racing and driving radio controlled cars. I have various scale cars and some of the larger scale stuff is rather neat.
I have two 1/6th scale cars and they have V8 Supercar shells on them (V8 Supercars is a form of racing in Australia). So I'd always entitle the videos something like "1/6th scale radio controlled cars - V8 Supercar showdown" (That was one clip where we were racing).
The amount of abusive messages I used to get daily from people telling me that the cars didn't have V8 engines was insane.
Of course they don't have bloomin' V8 engines... they're 1/6th scale!!!!!
I had som many people treating me as if I didn't know what I was talking about... and... hello... I uploaded the video, I own the cars... I know what they are.
And yeah, I gave all the info in the description - "These cars have V8 supercar shells on them etc etc etc". But apparently no one ever read that.
So I just stopped uploading and took down a lot of what I had up in the first place.
