Do you enjoy it straight up! Or do you prefer it with cereal or granola? How about adding mixed fruits or nuts? Or do you prefer them in smoothies? Some people like it in baked goods. Or heck, you like it in all of the above! So, How do you enjoy your yoghurt?

I enjoy taking my yogurt straight from the cup. since it is quite costly here, I normally make my own yogurt. When I make my own yogurt I normally add cocktail fruits and other flavours to enhance the taste.

I normally buy the yogurt starter yeast from the health food store and use packet milk boiled to certain temperature. Just add the yeast and leave it few hours in room temperature before I store them in the fridge. Too long outside will make them too sour. Sometimes I do use the store bought plain yogurt as the starter. It is equally good.

Hmm... yoghurt starter yeast? I have not tried that before. Does it have a strong smell after the yoghurt is formed? How long can the home made yoghurt last?

Oh, home made yoghurt? How do you make them? I used to make some by getting a cup of yoghurt from the market. Plain flavor. And then use some of it in a fresh batch of milk. And the milk will turn into yoghurt the next day. And then I would repeat the process. How about you? How do you make your home made yoghurt?

Hi ahgong, I enjoy it plain usually - straight from the tub. I haven't really tried to eat it any other way. If I am eating it with nuts, then it came straight from the tub like that. Yogurt is one type of food I quite like. I once that I might get addicted to it seriously.

Yo! Brother wizard! Long time no see yah! Where have you been? Yeah, I too take them usually straight from the tub. But there are times when I actually add my own fruits. And they are very good! And if I can get the nuts to add to it, even better! And yes, they can be quite addictive.

I enjoy yogurt no matter what or how LOL I do have a sweet tooth, so I do like it sweet and I do always have to add something to make it the way I want even if it's just a bit of sugar or honey. The only yogurts where I don't need to add anything are the drinkable ones. I like those every morning with my breakfast or even just as my breakfast. I prefer natural yogurt to fruit flavored and I simply can't have the ones with those limp pieces on fruit in them.I night enjoy it if I cut fresh fruit and add to it, but not the ones that already came with it. They taste awful to me. I like to eat - and make - yogurt cake, and I add yogurt in many things that I cook, like sauces , etc. It is interesting, however, that I don't like yogurt in smoothies that much. I'll have it, but it's not a favorite. I prefer to make mine with plain milk fruit and ice, or just fruit juice more fruit and ice :) Yogurt ... yummy :)

SO, how often do you bake with yogurt? What is the best recipe you have using yogurt as one of its ingredients? So share with me the recipe. I would love to try it out some day.

i eat it straight. But that's because i usually eat those flavoured ones. the natural ones taste odd. At times, i'd add in my own fruits like strawberries or grapes together with my yogurt

Yeah, the ready mixed ones are the easiest ones to get. And straight from the tub is find for those. I too sometimes like to add some fruits to my yogurt. Most of the time they are fresh fruits. But there are times where I add canned fruits to it too.

Yoghurt does not taste very good to me but I still eat because I know it is good for my health. I just prefer them on my smoothies as it tasted better that way as far as my taste buds are concerned.

Hmm... yoghurt in smoothies are very nice too. What is your favorite kind of yoghurt smoothies? The fruity ones where you add fresh fruits to the mix? Or the milky ones where you can add flavors like chocolate?

Oh, all three of them are nice. I like to take the avocado one with a big heap of milo powder on the top before it is being served. The best smoothie I ever had. The buttery flavor combined with the milo powder is really a winner! Thanks for sharing my friend!

I like the fruity ones. I have always loved fresh fruits so I do make good flavors of smoothies from my fresh fruits. I love mango smoothies the most also strawberries and avocados. Other fruits are okay too.

Blitz it with an equal amount of cottage cheese, sprinkle with bran flakes. A healthy version of cheesecake for those on a diet.

Oh? That is an interesting combination. I may just give it a try just to see what it taste like. Cottage cheese with yoghurt, interesting! So, after you mix the cottage cheese and the yoghurt, how long do you let it stay in the fridge to set? Will it all be liquid and messy when it is thawed?

Interesting. I will definitely give it a go! Thanks for sharing that with me!

dont freeze it, just eat it as soon as its made. Its not as tasty as a normal cheesecake but has loads less calories and sugar and provides your body with protein.

I like to have yougurt right from the cup, especially yogurt with multi berries. I don't think I want have it with fruits and nuts as the yogurt is already sweet enough.

Yeah, using yogurt to replace cream in the recipe is nice too! And that unique taste that yogurt gives, it make the cakes and the cookies even yummier. But not all recipes can carry this though. Need to find the correct ones to use. Otherwise it would not be able to keep for long!

Yoghurt Smoothies - Usually fruity in flavor. Popular among people who are on a diet.
Smoothies with yoghurt is kinda like milk shakes. But replacing the milk with yoghurt in order to reduce the fat content. A favorite among people who are on a diet. Usually smoothies with yoghurt are fruity in flavor. But there are those who will add chocolate to the mix and use plain yoghurt instead of fruity yoghurts.

Hello! Yes,I eat the yogurt as it is with my lunch adding a little sugar and salt because it boosts the immune system by enhancing digestion, increasing mineral absorption, synthesising certain vitamin Bs and reducing the incidence and duration of diarrhea. It is better to prepare curd at home.thanx.

Hmm... serving yoghurt with sugar and salt. That is something that is new to me. You make your own yoghurt at home? And you eat it everyday with your afternoon meal? Wouldn't you get sick of eating the same plain yoghurt every day?

I enjoy yogurt right out of the cup. Without anything on it, I don't like to have nuts with it or anything at all. I do love strawberry yogurt that has some strawberry fruits. And oh, I cannot eat yogurt that isn't chilled. It would be yucky.

Yeah... I totally agree with you on that. Yoghurt must be chilled to be really tasty. The non chilled version, I do not like much either. Straight from the cup eh? Me too! I like them straight from the cup as well!

I love smoothies. I also like a flavored yogurt. Usually vanilla or peach. I like eating yogurt with fruit in it too. I've never had it with cereal or granola but I bet it would be good. I am a yogurt fan for sure.

Oh, you should try yogurt with cereal or granola. That nutty flavor mixed with the taste of the cereals is really unique. And very refreshing too! Peach yogurt is very nice too. And if you can add some peach wedges to go with it, even yummier!

It doesn't matter what flavour it is or what kind it is...I LOVE it with wheat germ. It adds such a nutty flavour and it's really healthy for you too. *Pleiades

I have yet to try it with wheat germ. Sounds good as a new option to eat yoghurt with. I may just give that a try this weekend! Looks like there is a new item to add to the shopping list!

I love yoghurt so much. I love eating it straight up from the cup. I also love adding almonds on them. Whenever I crave for ice cream, I just go out and buy yoghurt instead. I've tasted, yoghurt with squares of brownies on it, its also yummy though. Now I wanted to have on yoghurt! =)

Hi My favourite way of having yoghurt is in a smoothie (combined with raspberries or peaches). Another really nice way to eat yoghurt is over icecream as it starts to set and adds a really interesting texture. My favourite flavour is toffe
