yeah i have used the trimmer sometimes if i havent shaved for a bit i have to use the trimmer just so the razor can handle it without grabbing my whiskers if you have a good trimmer its can get it down to a reasonble level but if im gonna do usually use my electic shaver to finish the job

Hello timhiny! I remember my husband when you talked about this. When my husband was here, I usually shave his beard and mustache. Like you, he hates it too. I really missed that moment especially when I accidentally cut his mouth..hehehe..

I don't shave, but every week or so I do cut it down. I just uploaded a picture in my photo section "for the discussion 'shaving'" There was a time I didn't trim it, and it was a bit weird - it wouldn't grow downward, but kind of loop up in front of me when it got to a certain length. Kind of like the hair on my head (what little I have) - it would be slightly wavy for three or four inches and then frazzle. I hope I don't have to shave it off when I go job hunting - I agree it is a major hassle.

there are a few places as i remember that have a facial hair policy so you had to be clean shaven to work there which didnt bother me when i was job hunting but i would prefer not to have to be completely clean shaven if i have the choice

OMG, I totally HATE shaving! It is one of the most tedious personal grooming tasks there is. Why do humans have to have hair in places other than the tops of their heads? I mean what is the purpose? Some people have surmised it once had something to do with protection but that is just crazy. What does hair protect you from other than some degree of cold or a sunburned head? I wish there was a better shaving alternative than wax (ouch!) but those creams and the sandapaper and all that crap just don't appeal to me. I really wish I could get a self-grooming body.

Yeah, I hate it too, and I have to do it every day. That, coupled with having to take a shower every day, they sure take up some time in the morning that you could use to sleep more.

I hate to shave also. Even though women have more to shave, I think men have it worse. We women can go a few days without our legs being noticed. We can easily cover them with clothing. Men on the other hand can't really cover their faces, especially if they have that really thick stubble. I've seen men go a couple days without shaving, and they just look shaggy!

or in my case look like something out of the movies like a werewolf if we let it get too long it looks bad and can get kinda itchy i usually for myself leave a mustache and a goatee but it just looks ragged if i dont keep it trimmed up around it
