what is the difference between pop and rock music

ROCK and pop music are becoming more and more similar,but there are still some important differences.most pop music are liked by everybody.on the other hand,rock music just satisfy their inner desire, people sing for their emotions and live for music. who has other opinions, please tell me . let us share your good views

Rock music mainly consits of four major persons...1. an singer 2. on keyboard 3. drummer 4. guitarist/lead guitarist.
In case of Pop Music, it mainly consists of mainly use of bass and beats.

Rock music is a type of music. Pop music is just short for popular, so it can be all sorts of music that appeals to lots of people.
