A.R.Rehman not a muslim

oscar winner musician A.R. Rehman is not a muslim , appeal to all muslims , please not to be proud about A.R.Rehman even though he is muslim , because in islam music is prohibited , thats wht A.R.rehman is not considered as a muslim .. because he promotes music for his name and fame which is against islam. please try to advice this fact to all muslims as much as possible. " be a good follower of islam"

i am not saying that muslims never listen to music, but i am saying that in islam , music is strictly prohibited, may some muslims listen to music ,but they are muslims only according to their name but they may not be a real and true muslim ,did you understasnd my brother?

But who decides who a real Muslim is?
That's like how some Christians say other people aren't real Christians just because they don't like something that they do.
Or maybe the Quran really does say that anyone who listens to music isn't a real Muslim, in which case, I stand corrected. :)
I'm just curious, personally I have no religious affiliations. Religion is just not for me. Basically for exactly this reason, I would hate to have to live by all these crazy rules that don't even make sense.

hehe......u people r always of cheap mentality.... itz good..u should follow the islam..itz fine...before A.R. rehman..there were more musician from mushlim community..then y shouldnt u written abt them..u know atif aslam,string band..all these r good follower of islam..but they r following and using their professionalism..what is your problem...one thing more..A.R.rehman is not only mushlim..he is a good human being..a good indian..we indians are proud due to him...we always love his music before the winning of oscar....fren i must say one thing..dont use these word..can u plzzz tell me what is islam ?....

Do good things then everything's fine.Whether some one listen to songs or not doesn't decide a person to be a Muslim.Similarly for other religions I would say the same.Have a nice day!! :)
