Hi, If you could only choose one meal to eat every day till the end of your life span, What would it be? For me that is a easy answer, I absolutely love Lasagna, so that is what I would choose. Although Pizza has a close runner up.
Here are some suggestion: And how would you like them,fried,baked,broiled,steamed,BBQ,etc....
Chicken
Chinese
spaghetti
pizza
fish
lasagna
steak
roast
ribs
tofu
vegetarian dish

Hi there!
Well, it would be very easy for me too! I will definitely choose my favorite, which is spaghetti. It could be my own cooked spaghetti or my mom's. My mom's spaghetti is the best and she passed on the recipe to me so they're kind of the same but as they say, nothing beats the original and it seems to magnify the goodness of the food when it's cooked especially for you.

I think it'd have to be cubesteak, I love the way it tastes, and I think there is only one of two ways to cook it, in the oven, on the stove, or well I guess on the grill as well. In any case, I would love to have that, but I don't know if I would like it after eating it for so long. I, do though have a higher tolerance of left overs then my fiance who gets bored of them sometimes the same night, or the next day!

My hubby don't like leftovers very much at all. I have a hard tie getting him to eat them. I end up eating them though so they won't go to waste.

I guess you can just call me Mtdg, or whatevery you decide.
Cubesteak here is the definition that wikipedia gave for it.
Cube steak is a cut of beef, usually top round or top sirloin, tenderized by fierce pounding with a meat mallet, or use of an electric tenderizer. Many professional cooks insist that regular tenderizing mallets cause too much mashing to produce a proper cube steak, and insist on either using specialized cube steak machines, or manually applying a set of sharp pointed rods to pierce the meat in every direction. This is the most common cut of meat used for chicken fried steak.
Some might even call it Minute steak.

I love left overs myself, but know that some just don't. I'm not sure if it's true or not, but I think my brother in law is the same way as your husband. I can get my fiance to eat them, but he does get tired of them before I do.

If I had to eat a particular type of food every day for the rest of my life, then I'd go for Asian food. I know it's a very broad answer, but at least it gives me some variety! I love BBQ too, so if I was to be cooking my meals one way and one way only, it's BBQ for me! I like lasagna and pizza also, but I couldn't possibly eat them every single day. Funnily enough, last week my Wife and I ordered Italian food and the 2 things we had were Pizza and a spinach/ricotta Lasagna!

That crock pot recipe does sound interesting, but it's more of a "Westernized" recipe I feel. The 3 spoons of peanut butter is certainly an interesting ingredient too, I must say! lol. Asian food has so much variety and there's something for everybody in my opinion. Rice dishes, noodles, stir fry, a multitude of meat dishes..... Spicy curries like Thai Green Chicken and then there's the soups - Chicken Sweet Corn, Hot and Sour, Tom Yum..... Deep fried snacks like wontons and spring rolls, steamed dumplings, BBQ pork and duck..... Sushi, sashimi..... I'm hungry all of a sudden! lol.
Be safe dropping your Sister off to school and I'll see you again soon no doubt.

I love sandwiches. Those are my favorite food because you can make so many different kinds of sandwiches. So, essentially, it is the same type of food, but in reality, when you think about it, it's really not the same thing at all. It's all completely different.

Hello, and yes I do get tired of eating the same things over and over. Even though Im really not, at times it seems like it and I get to a point where I have no idea what I want.
Looking at the list of suggestions you posted, I might have to choose chinese.
Besides the fact that I absolutely love chinese food, the choices are so extensive that I could change them around daily. There are so many different things in chinese food.
Oh now why did you have to bring this up? I was wondering what to have for supper!..lol..Now I want chinese food but am really having left over spaghetti

I think that no matter how much I love a certain food, I will certainly get tired to eating it if I had to eat it daily. It loses its being a special meal for me. I can't really think of anything that I can eat daily without getting tired of it hehehe I prefer variety in my meals.

I don't know about choosing just one meal or one kind of food. Although you love lasagna you would get tired of it. When I was 6 I fell and bashed in my two fron theeth. They didn't fall out right away and were only baby theeth but the dentist wanted to try to keep them from falling out as they guide the adult teeth which were barely forming. My mom put me on soft foods. For two weeks I had oatmeal or soggy cold cereal, and Carnation Instant Breakfast mix for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For dessert I could have plain thin vanilla pudding. To this day I can't stand soggy cereal or Instant Breakfast Mix. I even got tired of pudding. No I would'nt want to eat the same foods forever.

Yea it was one of those OUCH! MOMMEEEEEE! moments. I was barefoot climbing around on the bumpers of the vehicles in the driveway. I was stepping from the bumper of the car to my dad's service truck. It was reaching dew point so everything was getting wet. My brother came out to put the vehicles away. He moved the truck forward right as I tried to step onto the bumper. Of course my foot slipped off and down I went. Caught my theeth on the license plate of the truck on the way down before doing a face plant on the driveway. I remember sitting on top of the washer in the laundry room while my dad dug up the insurance papers for trip to the ER to make sure nothing was broken. Bruised lips and chin, and deep cuts into the gum on each side of my two front theeth. Trip to the dentist the next day to confirm my floppy theeth were only baby theeth. After two weeks on soggy cereal they fell out anyway. I have one tooth, inciser to the left of the front theeth, that didn't grow as much as the other because the root was damaged. All I want for Christmas is my two front theth..... This happened in summer and I think it was near Christmas before they grew in. My school pic that year showes me with the big gap. Couple of side effects, all my other theeth were pushed back so when I did get new theeth I had a gap on each side. I could spray water sideways doing a sneeky attack on my brothers. Hee hee ha ha. One nice side effect is because of that gap I have nice straight teeth today. When I got my wisdom theeth everything moved forward filling in the gap. Had it not been there I would be snagle-toothed like my brothers as my wisdom theeth would have pushed everything out of alignment. I don't remember the pain that much but I sure cringe whenever I watch those wacky videos of people falling on their face soing some dumb stunt.

I just cringe thinking about it I see it as a slow motion reel in my head and I must say, I am glad that I didn't have to go through that as a child. I did however had my little sister kick my bottom teeth loose and two was knocked out. I kearned not to tickle a two year old with hard bottom shoes on..lol

I'm not sure that I'd like boiled pizza very much! I love anything with chicken in it. But I only eat it if it is free range or organic. Yesterday I took my daughter out for lunch and had a calzone with chicken in it. Bliss. My favourite would have to be roast chicken or beef, The latter cooked very rare. I like my beef to still be mooing when it comes to the table. Or seafood, I love anything fishy or shell fishy. Could I eat it forever? I guess that it would quickly become monotonous.

Lol,I am positive that nobody would like boiled pizza much.I know there are some meats left off the list because I forgot to put them on there..one being lamb, and exotic meats like ostrich, bats, rats, and other foods that some might think to eat. I will have to try me a chicken calzone. Was it with cheese and broccoli or something different. I love Lean Pockets/Hot Pockets but I haven't tried the calzone yet.

I'm a steak & potatoes kinda girl. If I knew it would be what I'm having every day, I could mix up the way I cook both. I'm a binge eater anyway. I eat something I like & I eat it every day for a month or maybe more. When I grow tired of it, I just stop eating it. That usually happens right after whatever it is is on sale & I stock up on it!!! Once I'm tired of it, I don't eat it again for a year or more. I love Lasagna too, but I don't think I would want it every day!!! It gives me indigestion. And so does Pizza

I think it is impossible for me to eat same food again and again. Even with the food I like the most, I don't like to eat it again and again. I always like changes in the dishes. Masala dosa is one of my favorite food, but I love to change it and can't eat it again and again. I like all vegetarian food that tastes very good.

Hi, mtdewgurl74! I would choose to have Lasagna and baked chicken wings. I would love to have a turkey lasagna made instead of the beef. I could eat this for a very long time because it is so darn delicious! I do get tired of eating the same foods over and over. That is why I stay trying something new. My taste buds tend to change rapidly. I know that for the summer, I will be trying me many different types of foods to eat.

I get sick of cooking the same food over and over. My husband could eat steak and rice until the end of time. I get tired of cooking it, because I do not eat it. If I had to choose one meal to eat every day till the end of my life, I guess I would choose lasagna too. I love lasagna, and because of the richness of the dish, I would only need to eat once a day. It could have meat or not, I really wouldn't mind, maybe I could switch up, meat one month and meatless the next month. I would keep rotating like that.
