It has been suggested before that life may exist on other planets apart from just Earth. Do you think that this might be true?

Of course there is life on other planets. Why would God create us and then stop? He would want to have many worlds of people, not necessarily like us. Jesus said "I have other sheep to tend to" and I believe he meant not only here but in other worlds. Yep, you probably think I'm nuts but that's how I explain the universe.

Hey dragon54u, I don't think you're nuts at all! I see exactly what you are saying, and whilst I am somewhat uncertain about how much of a part God has to play in all this, I too find it a little hard to believe that it's only us, only on this planet

I can't believe you got an F for expressing imagination!! I think the same as you, how do we know, and more importantly what gives us the right to say life can only exist in the form in which we recognise - so many advances in science have been made in the last 100 years. In another 100 years we may just find out that life doesn't have to necessarily be (like you said) carbon based.

Why wouldn't there be. It would be pretty self centered to think our planet was the only one where it could develop considering the billions of other planets out there.

I think so too

Hi UKShree. Yes, I think so. It would be another kind of life but it is life too. Not only in universe but in our planet too because the meteors that coming from universe bring some kind of life in their that can be camouflaged in our planet. We don't know most of the things about our planet yet. Lastly the scientists have discovered some kind of animals that were unknown till now. So why we can't have some alien life living in our planet that can change something in the nature and we never notice it. The universe have many misteries. Have a good day.

I completely agree, science is always making new discoveries therefore I wouldn't be surprised at all if they discovered life out there

I cannot see why not there is a whole universe out there.life can be classed as a plant or small insect. One day we find out and until then keeping an open mind is the best thing.

Completely agree with you! Maybe some prefer not to believe due to a fear of the unknown?

I think it is possible. Because we didn't take birth in some other planet and come to earth later. Life took birth in earth only after earth was formed, according to its situations and climate. Similarly, life may be formed in other planets also according to their climatic conditions.

Exactly - maybe life on other planets is completely different to the way that life is on Earth

Hi UK, I can't imagine that there are still people on the earth who don't believe that there is life on other planets! There are not only countless stars and planets in our universe but there are countless universes as well. Why would anyone think that there would be life on this little particle of dust and no where else in the vastness of space? There is about the same chance of there being no life out there as one has of winning the lottery without a ticket. Of course there is life on other planets. Blessings.

Hi there Pose123, thank you for sharing such an interesting opinion on this topic. I agree with you, however there are still many that do not believe in other life forms.

Maybe we just don't have the technology needed to find out other life at the moment. I mean at one point, humans thought the world was flat!

Thanks for your response. I used to think this way but then I considered planets that are not within our universe. There must be so much out there that we don't know about....

In fact,I think so.Since there is life on earth, why there's no life on other planets? There are many phenomenon that shows other life may exsit but science can not explain why.Athough scientist haven't proved that life exsits on other planets,it may exist.Enjoy your day!Aha...

I have begun to think so too. After all, everyday we are making new discoveries. Perhaps life doesn't exist only in the way that we think it does?
