I am an Asian. In my country, there are no winter. So, I never seen snow. Normally, it is quite hot and sometimes rainy days in my country but it never snow.
If I have the chance to see snow, I think I will get very excited and happy. I will try to ski on ice and skate on the frozen water. I would be a lot of fun.
Have you seen snow? What is your feeling about snow?

i m from pak and there are lots of snowy places here.
infact our Northern areas is covered with glaciers, plenty of glaciers good about 50 kilometers long and 2-3 km wide.
awesome isnt it.
and it "snows" so heavily.
besides this there is moderate snowfall in some other parts of the country.
its really enjoyable.

I live in Ohio, USA and we are on a snow belt meaning we get some of the worst snow storms around! Two weeks ago we were all snowed in and couldn't leave our house for a couple of days. Our cars were buried under several feet of snow and since we live on a steep hill, we couldn't even walk down to the street because of all the ice and if by chance we DID get down, we probably wouldn't be able to get back up again till the ice melted! Don't get me wrong, I love winter as long as we are not snowed in. I remember when I was a kid in school, we had this new girl who was Asian move to town and she never saw snow before and was always asking us all about snow, well one day it snowed and she went nuts! She stared out the window, her mouth hung open, she screamed, squealed and ran out the school door! The teachers and everybody was trying to find her and finally we found her laying in the school yard, on her back, laughing and crying, making snow angels in the snow, it was so funny! The teachers decided to just leave her alone and told her to come in when she was ready because they felt she needed to be with her snow in private. After about an hour and a half, she came back into the classroom with a very red face and ran to the back of the class where the sink was and thawed out her frozen hands, she was out there making snow balls and not paying any attention to just how cold her hands were becoming. Well everything turned out just fine and we were all happy that she finally got her snow!

I hate snow. Every winter we get buried in snow. Some people like it. They go skiing, snowboarding and snowmobiling. But me, I don't like it. It is hard to drive on. The driveway has to be plowed all the time. The porch has to be shoveled. It is cold. If there is ice under the snow, you can slip and fall and get very hurt. It costs a fortune to keep the house heated. You can not spend a lot of time outdoors unless you bundle up in a ton of clothes. I prefer a warmer climate. The kids like the snow. I like to open the windows and let the fresh air in. But it is too cold to open the windows in the winter. It is like being trapped in your home for months on end. I guess if you have never seen snow or spent anytime around snow, it would be interesting. I have had my fill of snow. Yuk.

i'm an asian as well and though in my home country, there is snow in some parts, i haven't seen any since i live overseas. and the country where i'm at has a tropical climate so no snow as well.
it is tough for me to adjust to the cold since i'm prone to asthma then but like many, sometimes, i wish to experience it as well.
i did once though it was in my dream. and it was a sweet dream at that too so i really enjoyed myself. seemed like i was with someone of great importance to me and it was maybe christmas eve and it started snowing which of course made me happy. i wanted to know how it would feel on my skin so i went out. it was indescribable you could say.
it melted on my hand, leaving a cool feeling. if i were alone, i think it might not have been that big a deal but like i said, i seemed to be in love then. (it is a dream of course, i'm married in reality:P) but being a romantic at heart, i was satisfied. in fact, now i don't really have a 'craving' for snow now^_^ though it would be nice to experience it once.

Hello
Where I am from we have cold and snowy winters , and sometimes ice !
I dont mind the snow . I think it looks very nice and at night it glows kinda like diamonds in the sky . It is really nice to read a book by the fire and watch the snow fall down. I have played in the snow . Snow ball fights are fun , and going sled riding, or sitting by a bon fire , all very nice . I mean most people will say its a pain in the bum and it can be .
I kinda am alot more down in the winter and kinda hide away like go into hibernation mode LOL like a bear i guess you could say . I like winters for hockey ! and sometimes ice skating and the change , but sometimes it is way to long , or i am way too cold .
I am sure you have seen pictures of snow
be careful on frozen water as well !

I live in a part of the US where we see about once every 10 or 15 years. My husband was a career military man. When he retired, we chose to stay here where the winters are warmer that the state where he grew up or even my home state, which is only about 500 miles from here. We both like the warmer weather, but tomorrow's predicted high of 90+ degrees is a bit too much. It's still February.

Come on out to the midwest in the USA and we will show you more snow and ice than you ever want to see!! :-) I have two cousins from CA who have never seen snow and were here over the holidays. We had a snow storm and they had a great time (teenagers) - even loved shoveling that snow for their grandparents. It really is a wonderful and fun time of year. Sledding and skating and snowboarding - darned cold, and roads are not fun to drive on, but sure is fun to play in it. I hope you get to experience it!

Im in USA. Born and raised in the state of Iowa. All my life tons of snow, freezing blowing winds. Sometimes sun dog or moon dogs. Thoses are halos around the sun or moon when its extremely cold. Wind chill factors of -40. Warnings to bring livestock in to the barns. Cars not starting. Ughhh no i hate it. I moved to another state that is not that bad. Im in Colorado now. We dont get much snow here. If we do it usually melts within the week. Most the snow you hear about here is in the mountians. I will never move back to my home state coz i hate the snow and cold. My home state also had a humid climate and Colorado is dry. That makes a big difference too. Humidity make cold colder and hot hotter. I dont understand why anyone would want to go sking either. I dont want to walk in that stuff let alone play in it.
I understand you wanting to see it if you never had it. I have just have enough of it.
