Ok me personally I have never been a fan of big crowds and crapped rooms. I dont like going to big parties...i find that not all of them, but a lot of them end up with at least one fight through out the night. I also dont like feeling crowded it makes me startt o feel clauterphobic and drives me crazy. I then start looking around and seeing all the things that can go wrong and start to worry. i would much prefer to have a small gathering of freinds. I find it less stressful, and I am more able to enjoy myself. I like being able to have conversations...and not worry about a fight breaking out,...or things getting out of control. So what about you...do you prefer small gatherings, or big parties...and why?

i prefer small gatherings because i don't really see myself going to big parties where i may get out of place or bored. i'd rather be in small gatherings but with the people closest to me than being with a lot of strangers.

I am exactly the same way. I have no fun when at big parites...i feel out of place and uncomftorable. I would much rather be partying with a small group of freinds that I trust...then a lot of strangers that I dont. Thank you for your response!

I prefer to have small gathering. I always like small gatherings but I did try one time throwing a big birthday party for me and my friend. It ended up she had more visitors than I had and I didn't even know her guests. It felt so awkward. I didn't like it, it was horrible for me. I vowed to myself never to do that again. That happened only once but I haven't attended big parties that end up with a fight or turmoil. Attending one big party would make me feel conscious of the people around.

Thats the same with me...big parties make me feel uncomftorable...especially when I dont know most of the people. I always feel like i have to watch my back...my drink...and my belongings. And it just is not fun anymore..so I dont attend them...if i do not for long...sometimes i have to out of respect for the person throwing the party. Thank you for your respone!!

I prefer a small gathering because it is easier to control a few people. I've had big parties and so many things got broke, so many people get sick and do all types of weird things in the house that I just couldn't do it anymore. With a small gathering you can control the noise and just who is in your house. When you have a big party, people end up there that you don't even know and that just annoys me...

I am in total agreement with everything you just said! lol. I hate people showing up that I dont want there, and even sometimes people I dont even like. When you have big parties chances are a couple people will end up there that dont like each other. This then makes everyone else on edge and usally ends in a fight. And the more people there the more worried i get about things becoming broken, drinks getting spilled on my furniture and things. I like to have a small group of close freinds so that we can all sit down around a table, have a few drinks, and good conversations, and lots of laughs! Thanks you for your response!

Being an introvert I like big parties where there will be many people and no one notices you.You can just go and sit in a corner with a juice or a drink of yor choice and observe people around me.When its a small gathering people know you and you have to keep on talking.I dont have the gift of gab and find that very difficult.

I never thought of it that way before...thanks for the insight. I thougt someone who does not want to be noticed would want less people to notice them. But your absolutely right, more people...the harder it is to get noticed. Thanks for the great response!!!
