What is wrong with My Lot?

Today it is giving so much of trouble. I had to type out my views on a single subject thrice and now it is not letting me write.
Am new to lotting.
Is there any mechanism which specifies certain time for writing our views?
Is there any specific number of characters beyond which we can't write on a particular blog?
If anyone knows then please tell

I think what happens is that sometimes the site has a lot of users on it and they don't have enough dedicated server space to handle all the users. Sometimes it is really slow and you can't seem to post something or it takes a while for things to come up. Just a glitch with the site. There isn't really a limit on how much you can type, just the slowness of the site. If you keep trying to post something, you will run into a situation where you actually post a response (the same response) 2 or 3 times. (Happened to me).
