I have started playing monopoly and scrabble online on Pogo. It is a website with lots of different games. I play each at least once a day!
And when people come over to visit my boyfriend, they are like you're playing monopoly? or Scrabble? Wow you must be bored...
No! I just like it! And have no one who'll play with me in real life, and its easier online cuz you dont have to deal with all of the pieces and where to put it and make sure its all together!
What happened to when board games used to be fun? Even if they are online lol
Well, I like them, who cares what they think~

What do you like to do on the internet?

To me i find board games to only be played now when people are on holiday etc...
I mean i love a good board game.. monopoly being one of my all time favorites, but its gotten to a point that i only play it when im away on holiday...
what i tend to do on the internet now is play online games such as call of duty 4 and dota XD

I've tried them online, but somehow I feel like I'm missing out. I prefer to play in person, but you are right that there is no mess or a bunch of pieces to pick up! I suppose if I couldn't find anyone to play, I'd play them online as well. Let me know your pogo screen name and I'll look you up when I'm there!

This is probably why people think it's a little weird!
It's one thing to play with another person. When it's face-to-face rivalry, you're getting obvious social action. but when you're behind a computer screen, people think you're being anti-social. It's weird how this works. You then try to explain to them, "but there IS a person on the other end, I'm playing against them!" but your friends still don't think you're being social.
On the other hand, I do think online games are amazing. They're one cure for boredom! I just wish it was a more socially interactive environment!
and I'm TOTALLY with you on the, "there is no mess or a bunch of pieces to pick up!" :)

Hi Stacy. No, I wouldn't laugh at you at all , because I too play online games all the time too. Ha ha ! May be I should laugh at myself ! My favorite games are Tetris and Collapse. Those are easy games. I am not that skilled you know ! So, I have to stay with easy games !

i also play a lot of online games generally i play in "zapak" i have even won some gifts for playing these online games. I download many games from mini-clips and play them.

I love online games too. When I will be browsing the net I usually got to https://store.playspan.com, a virtual marketplace to checkout for new offers so that I can earn points and play free games... Other than that I check for movies and funny videos on the net...

Hi stacy! I still play scrabble with my nieces and my husband sometimes (when he is in the mood for one game..LOL) and we don't play online, we play LIVE! haha..I really don't mind playing it since I am enjoying the game and so do my nieces However, my nieces and nephews will tease me how "jurassic" I am most of the time because I always ask them to play games of my times and also ask them to dance with me in the tune of the 80s and 90s. LOL!
