Does anyone else out there have a 5 year old girl that just doesn't be quiet from the moment she gets up to the moment she goes to bed? I don't think it is physically possible for her not to be speaking at every single moment!

Isn't it funny how we, as parents, cannot wait for our kids to begin talking and then once they do we wish they would shut up! I went through it with my daughter too. She is now 8 and doesn't talk as much, but she likes to get the last word in which can be infuriating.

Even as a baby as soon as she could make sounds she was like that. Now even if she is coloring or writing or playing on the computer, watching TV she rambles on and on and on. I think she just likes to hear herself talk. I wonder if she will ever grow out of it.

Hi,
I have a little one that just turned 5 and yes she too talks and talks and talks, as well as bossing around the younger ones. She thinks she is in charge because she is the oldest. We can put up with her constant chatter since she is so darn lovable.

our youngest sweetie is like that, although now she is older and its not as bad, but i remember when she was little and very much like that. (she is almost 12) and still we hear comments from her teachers that she is too social (much like her mom i guess!)
