Mac or PC?

The age old question, What do you prefer, Mac or PC? Would you change your mind if they were the same prices? What computer would you get if you had the opportunity to get it for free? Personally, I prefer Mac, some of the few downsides of them, in my opinion, are that they a expensive and there aren't nearly as many games on it (without boot camp). Some of the reasons why I like them are because they have a nice interface once you get use to it and I love everything about the 17" MacBook Pro except the price. I don't have any problems with PC's, I like them too (I'm using one right now). But if given the choice, I would pick a Mac. you?

May I sugged an Hp pavillion? I've had one for a while and I have never experienced a problem with it. My friend on the other hand, had quite the myriad of virus and pogram issues with her mac justin the first month. She no longer gets sound and is trying to sell it.

I have an HP Pavillion Too, I am a game designer and that means I have to download and use many programs, and I still haven't found problems with it. They are great computers. Now my friend sliced his hand on his Mac back, and had to be hospitalized for 4 days or so last week. This concludes....Macs are sharp computers.

yes i have this dilemma when i was about to buy a laptop, being a PC user for very long, i want a pc, but macbook air is just so sexy. and having the opportunity to install windows with bootcamp is a plus. i tried playing with my mac osx leopard for a week, but installed windows xp after, right now, im using windows xp on my macbook air machine. im just comfortable with windows as i use this for a long time.

Yeah, most people learned how to use computers on a windows OS and a lot of people don't like learning new things, especially when they can stick with what they are use to. Luckily, my graphic design courses used Macs so I was forced to get used to them. Once you get used to it, it is quite nice.

I'd go for the MacBook. It's more classy, has some useful softwares which I think will be easy to use over time, and it doesn't easily get infiltrated by viruses. The PC has been overused and it's actually gaining so much problems than before, so it's time for us to choose alternatives.

I'll go for a Mac. It has a very solid database and it cannot be easily inflicted by a virus or worm. It doesn't go slow after sometime, unlike PCs which decreases its processing speed after some time.

I agree, the Mac is a wonderful computer, pricing its one of it's downfall. Also its not so user friendly, there are about a handful of popular games that can be run on Mac. That is the reason why I am using a PC now, just because it allows me to make my own game. As a game developer using both systems can work to your advantage. But as a gamer, using PC would be better off because most if not all games work on Windows.
