Comfort or style?

When you purchase a new shoe, do you buy for comfort or for style? Many shoes are made simply to look nice, but are very harsh on the feet.On the other hand, some companies have gone to great lengths to make traditionally uncomfortable shoes very comfortable with inserts and padding galore.
When I purchse a new shoe I tend to buy for both comfort and style. If I'm looking for a specific style, I will look around to find the one that is most comfortable. Sometimes, I purchase shoes completly for the comfort. I have a pair of mocassins and some boots that are my go to comfy shoes.

For shoes I go for comfort because I have a lot of problems with my feet and cannot afford for them to get any worse. I have to wear dress shoes to work but I go with the most comfortable ones I can find.
I did find some comfortable boots finally too this year. My shoes are definitely increasing now, which is funny because I used to never have more than 3 pairs at a time.

Hi, i will consider the comfort first, shoes that not comfortble will be harmful to the feet, and also we will feel tired wearing these shoes.The fashion is also a factor, but it is less important compared with comfort.

I go for comfort with shoes. I have to be comfortable in my shoes or it makes for a craby day but I also won't buy some really goofy looking pair of shoes either just because they are comfortable I want them to be comfy and look half way nice does that make sense. lol

I have to go for comfort. I once bought a beautiful pair of shoes that I liked so much but I could not make it through the day when I wore them to work. By the end of the day I had to take them off and walked barefoot to my car. When I returned them to the store the lady at the customer service desk understood completely because she had bought a pair too...and had to return them.

Hi surveytaker.I always go for comfortable shoes...naturalizer,aerosoles and rockport are on top of my list...they're comfy and stylish.I also like wearing rubber shoes especially when I go to the mall and it would require a lot of walking.I wouldn't sacrifice comfort for style.

I tend to purchase shoes because we have to...lol..otherwise, I like bare feet..
...Having said that, I tend to buy for both comfort and style...The shoes have to look good but comfort is also very important to me. I may buy 1 pair for a special occasion that I absolutely love but arent the most comfortable. The rest of my shoes are probably bought more for comfort
