have you ever been betrayed by your friend?

I also have been betrayed by my friends when I was in secondary school and by my mother's sister.I feel so sad.

i haven't been betrayed for money but i have been betrayed nonetheless.. she was spreading nasty rumors about just because a guy was introduced to me that she apparently likes.. people who betrays friends are not worthy to be called as a a friend.. for a friend is supposed to be someone who is there for you and would always be there for you no matter what.. i say to this kind of people. good riddance!! we don't need these kind of people in our lives.. =)

hi christina, It is a very sad thing when our friend betrayed us. Especially, if we know that person a long time and we trust so much. I remembered when I was still studying in college. There was a guy that became my close friend there. He always help me with school works. He always chat with me and make me laugh. He never left me alone even in my most down moment when I am so sad. I also remembered how he save my life when I was almost hit by the car. I give him my trust because I found him so good to me. He even introduced me to his parents and siblings. They all treat me so nice. But one thing that I cannot forget is how he betrayed my trust on him. For almost a 2 years, I made it clear to him that we are just friends. What I didn't know is that, he is telling his family that I am his girlfriend.He is telling them that I love him so much and I cannot live without him.He not say those things to me.All the year, I thought he is a loyal friend to me. I just found out that he is doing all those lies when her family had a talked with my parents. My mother got so angry. And I was very surprise with what I learned. Up to now I am so angry with what he did.There is still the anger within me. But I can say that although it is so hard to forgive, I am trying to forgive him.This post makes me so sad because I remembered how bitter the feeling is if a trusted friend betrayed you.

Honestly to say, i haven't. i am so sorry to hear what your friend have done to you, it must hurt you a lot, i hope you will be all right soon. This is the life, something we hate so much and can't even tolerate them, such as betraying, but it would come sometimes, even from our best friends who trust firmly. we should learn to pay more attention to the things like that and protect ourselves out from getting more hurting from them when these things heppen.

Who hasn't been betrayed by a friend? I have a couple times. One was over a bf. She didn't like him so she ended our friendship and said it was my boyfriend or her. She had no reason to dislike him and he never did her wrong so of course i said im not getting rid of my bf because your selfish so that was the end to our friendship. Ive also had a few friends i lost over money. I would always take them on vacation with me and buy them lunch and dinner and they would never offer anything in return and half the time never even brought money with them knowing that i would pay. Its kinda sad how friends can do that to you.

It's sad to heard that.Fortunately, i have no this experiences. But I think these people couldn't be called "friend". They didnt know what the true friend is. Dont be frustration.At least you know who is the really friend and who is not.

Hello christina! I have been betrayed by my couple of friends and relatives because of money. It was so frustrating because they thought money just come and come to me and it doesn't matter or big deal for them if they're not going to pay me. But what can I do, I may get mad first but it wont stay that long because it is just money but I never loaned money to them anymore. Also, I have betrayed by a friend out of jealousy.

..sure I was.. during our college days.. She betrayed me just because she had a crush to our instructor.. She was actually jealous of me because i AM MORE CLOSER TO OUR INSTRUCTOR THAN SHE IS.. I was deeply hurt since I consider her as one of my best friends.. As of now, we are still friends but I don't already open my personal problems to her.. I just keep it for myself.. I am already afraid that she will repeat her mistakes again in the past..
