Everyone seems to have a different opinion on this matter, and that's not really surprising. What I would like to know is, what is your favorite game system? Why is that your favorite? Which game systems do you own? What would you say makes you want to play games? What game system do you like the least and why? What kinds of games do you like playing and why? What games would you recommend and why?

This is a really good discussion and I am sure there are a lot of people out there who have different ideas when it comes to different consoles that they like to play or different games they like to play on the consoles,I have had different consoles in the past, right now me and my fiance have a Nintendo 64,a Nintendo Game Cube,a X-box,and a Halo 3 Edition X-box 360,and if I had to pick my favorite system it would be the X-box 360 because it has the ability to turn it off and on with the controller,it is Spartan green and gold like the Master Chief off of the Halo games, and it has good graphics, and I think the main reason I like to play games is because I think that playing shooting games like Halo 3,Army of Two,any of the Ghost Recon games, any of the Rainbow Six games, and any of the Splinter Cell games helps me relieve my frustration which makes me feel better if I am stressed out or mad about something,I do not think I like any system the least because they are all really good systems with different choices of games, have a great day, good luck in your life, and Happy Posting.

Thats a lot of questions xD. Alright, my favorite system is the Playstation 2, because it ha a lot, but really, a lot of good games. I love the Metal Gear saga and also the god of war saga, but the playstation 2 also has underrated games that are just awesome, like the Timesplitters saga. Its my favorite system because of the games that it has, because its very simple, the slim version is very comfortable. I actually own GameboyAdvance SP, nintendo DS, playstation, playstation 2, nintendo 64, gamecube (I think this console is the worst ever, because of the games, if you check any review web site, youll see that this is the console with the less games that have a good review) and I still dont buy7 a new generation console because I cant decide well, I think that I´ll finally buy a PS3. I like playing the action games, and the first person shooters, because dont require a lot of smart moves, just reflexes and ability, I´m kinda primitive to play, just by instinct, so the puzzle games are the worst for me :P. Games that I recommend, if you dont care if theyre old or not:
-ROad Rash N64, its one of the most funny games I have ever played
-Any GTA game for the PC or playstation system
-Perfect Dark N64
-Goldeneye N64
-Conkers bad fur day N64
-God of war I and II in PS2
-Metal gear solid 1 for PC or PSX, and metal gear 3 for PS2, dont even bother on playing metal gear 2...
-Metroid Zero mission GBA
-Any timesplitters game
-Fable I and II for the Xbox 360
-Half Life I and II for PC
-Bully for PS2
-Star wars Battlefront for PC
-Any Zelda game for any nintendo console.
-Any MArio bros game for any nintendo console.
-Flatout 2 for PC, a really amazing racing game, very underrated too.
And thats all I can remember Right now.

My favorite game system, PC, most game can be run on a PC, not only that, even some games that are on consoles work on PC through a process called Emulation. My least favorite Platform, is PS3, Sonic messed up on this one. Yes the graphics are incredible, but the fact that you have to have a flat screen T.V. ruined it. Sonic lost some people during that adventure. They are now trying to concentrate into the PS2, which is the best console they have out at the moment. So those are my two consoles fro this topic
