Why is it so hard to convince people?

Everyone here is posting about wanting to find a good online business or some way to earn online... Then you tell them this legitimate site, full of proofs but they never believe it. All the time you get people to say it is a scam. or i dont want to pay money to get FREE money. No pain no gain right? No matter how much proof you give, despite how enticing it sounds, they dont see it being real because as most would say "Too good to be true". Are we really all that skeptical now? proofs and testimonials wont do anymore? HAve you been burned too many times to believe that this is real??? Anyway, i am doing great in this business. Im earning more than i am getting from spending too much time in mylot before. I would have loved to share the experience with someone as long they dont judge it right away just because it's not going t be Totally freely given away to them. If you want big cash in the online world, you need to give. And I am the one PAYING you too so there cant be too much of a catch eh? Although maybe i do understand some people. There's just too many scammers is already hard to believe the real one from not. But like i said despite all the proofs, if they dont believe , it's they're loss.

You are so right. I was skeptical too. It took me awhile longer to get started, but I found some really good sites that pay good. It sure helps with being unemployed and also with the recession. I think many people have been burnt before with these sites, and just aren't willing to give it a chance. I have many friends that want nothing to do with the sites, until I inform them that I have received pay already and that they are legit. Great topic Hugs MaryLynn

Yeah i am currently a stay at home mom and trying to make money off the internet while i am surfing the web and my daughter is napping. So it gives me time to earn a little something on my freetime. And that little something actually helped us a bit here and there. I started this just this January and was able to save a little money already that we managed to put a downpayment for a newer bigger car for our family. And yes with the recession, its a risky business which paid off well enough to provide for misc necessities.

I started back in October, and I was able to save up a few hundred to help with the property taxes. I also have bought a few groceries with the extra money, some yarn to make Christmas Gifts, and now am saving towards paying the 2nd 1/2 of the property taxes. Good luck to you. Hugs MaryLynn

Well i guess its because the instances that most of online business are really scams. There are really good sites out there that later becomes a scam later in their lifetime. So I guess what you need in here is patience and understanding that risking yourself in online business is a very risky move and you need a lot of convincing power to let the each and everyone to join you. Well in your case if you are really earning that much you really don't need to convince them if they don't want to believe in you just go on with your online business and the more proof you have then the more chances you will get to convince your target to join you.

It is not that people do not beleive you, it is just that any site which asks you to pay up front is not really paying you for your work. They are recycling money received from the customers. it becomes a sort of pyramid structure. Borrow from Peter to pay Paul. If they are planning to pay you, then why ask you to pay upfront? Mylot does not ask yo to pay $10 before they start paying you. It doesn't sound logical to be asked to pay an amount if you are going to be asked to work for them. They should pay you for your work. i work on a number of sites and they pay me and have never asked me to pay anything up front. yes they do deduct a fee at the end of the period when they pay me.

I think u misunderstand, the business i am involved never ask people to pay upfront. The peopel invited are NOT paying the freebie site nor the referrer. They are paying companies like Avon, Grolier, Ebay, Amazon Walmart to try their products or services for a certain period of them. And for them to try it, they in turn get paid by freebie sites who host companies links.

And maybe it's that some people need to get that couple of dollars first and think that if they can get it from some of the more well known ways then they can do something more like you are offering. But, I am a little curious, how can you afford to pay people for buying things? If I'm not mistaken aren't you a single mom? If I'm prying pay me no mind, it's just that as a single mom myself I can't see myself paying anyone anything for doing me any kind of service. Haha. I grudgingly hand over the cash at walmart for stuff my family needs! LoL. But, I do wish you luck in this. People may be jaded, but desperate times call for desperate measures and someone will end up contacting you for a job I'm sure.

Well, how will some people people get some cash first if they dont even try it? I can afford to pay them because the sites themselves pay me to get referrals. So i kind of just pay a percentage of it to my referrals who are more willing to work with me.. If you want to look about freebie trading, just check my blog www.chicshopper.blogspot.com for some information on how everything works and why sites to this kind of business.

Ok how it goes is this: Step 1: You are my referral. U sign up under me in freebie sites. You complete the requirements to credit. Once you are done and you're account has been verified as not fraudulent, i pay you. Step 2: Once you sign up under that account, you get a referral link of your own. You can then use that for getting your own referrals to do step 1. The site will pay you any prize you choose. It can be cash via paypal or gifts that they offer like laptops, ipods and just whatever they have offered in that particular site. I always ask cash coz they pay instant. There's a trading site where you do all this as well. It helps to sign up in that trading site because you get to monitor the people you referred or work with. If they are a scam or not, you can go after your money which why we require a verified paypal account as well so you can process a claim and get a refund in case you were scammed. Step 2 can only be done when you ahve acquired a certain level of feedbacks from doing step 1. You also need to build your own portfolio of referral links before you can do step 2 to make the most of your referral and money. There's really no catch to this. Its easy as pie to make a ton of money with so little investment. :)

It does sound neat, really. I can't understand most of the jargon. LoL! Is it like when I go to freebie sites and sign up for free stuff, just use someone like you as a referal? I'm not sure I follow the train of thought, here.

I think because there are so many scams out there and look quite genuine people are apprehensive about certian sites. Alot of these sites ask for upfront fees and when you pay the fee you might find yourself with information that you could get for free or that the site just takes the money and never responds to any queries. People have been caught out too much with online things so are wary of paying money upfront and if its a site that is free but you put time into it and they dont pay you, your not worse off than before.

It just sucks because just when something real comes along, nobody believes it. its not like they are paying huge money. Its only going to be a dollar or two here. and they're not paying me for that. They pay legitimate company like Grolier or Amazon too. they buy certain things they might want from books, to makeup to coffee! and I PAY them to buy those! So which part did it sound like a scam? :(

Hey there! I agree with that. Despite all the proofs that you got people still doesn't believe you. How many referrals do you have under you here in mylot? And how did you convinced them to join.

It is hard to convince people because all people are not alike. People differ in many ways, nature , way of thinking no two individuals completely match in this world. People want proofs though there is quite enough evidence that things are happening, hence, we cannot convince such hard people. I do like only mylot so far and i have joined only in this site so far because i dont know about other sites as such. I dont make any efforts to make those people believe who never trust and waste my time.

I think it is hard to convince people, because there are alot of people trying to supplement their income with online work. In this economy there are alot of people who cannot afford to pay money to make money, and they are afraid of getting ripped off, or spending to much time on one thing to learn it is a scam. Even when you can show proof, there are alot of scams out there that show proof also. People are just more wary of being scammed now.

I too think that people have been scammed so much that they may judge things too fast before knowing what it all entails. I personally have been trying to find ways to earn extra money...but with little success for sure. I do realize there are legitimate opportunities out there that may require investment and that is ok as long as there is proof it can work. I would be very interested to hear about what you do.

Well, i do freebie trading. I would have thought this type of thing is already popular but im surprised that most people whom ive talked with dont know about it. I set up a blog for easy access to basic information about this business. you can take a look www.chicshopper.blogspot.com I basically pay people to be my referrals and complete offers as site requirements. In turn, the site pays me when everything is successful. EVerything is monitored in one trading area which i didnt put in my blog until that person is ready because once u get into the site, it tends to be overwhelming and confusing to some people. The site monitors your track record when it comes to paying, working with and just general behavior as a trader. But if you can check the blog and you can reach me anytime in the addresses posted if u are ever interested.

sometimes when I have my views, I will say it out. I don't care if I need to convince somebody to agree with me, just sharing with people. Some people are very stubborn, you never can get them convinced or listen to you.

i hate scams, i just don't want to believe these kind of things sometimes, i feel as if it's all just a lie. i think if it were a little more genuine. i try to find small print in everything i do.
