do you give money to beggar's on the streets? and why?

Hi there Cha! Well, I don't. Sometimes I feel bad but I give them food instead. I think that it's what they need. There were a lot of rumors that they are being governed by some syndicates and I think it would be best and safest if I give them food instead since I will be sure that they will benefit from it.

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. Depends on the situation, If someone with strong looks that can even work, I don't give them even a single cents and when it comes to children carrying a baby, still depends. They just use the babies' for us to give them something because we feel pity for them. I just give something or some of my coins to elders wandering around asking for money. ^_~

u must live in a city? i never see any beggers here. it may start as bad as the economy is.

It would depend on what the beggar's age is, whether he/she is handicapped or not, etc. There are lot of people who do not want to work,despite their limbs being perfectly fine. I will never give money to them because they can work and make a living. For beggar such as those who are crippled or blind or something like that, I do have a soft corner and I would give them something most of the time. Again, it would depend on my gut feeling but still, that is the general rule that I follow.

i do give money to beggars if i dont have food available at that time in my car. i really don't mind giving whether its money or food, whats important you give something or share something to them instead of denying their request. i mean, i don't blame them for their situation, they are probably there because of circumstances which is probably beyond their control. i would always tell myself what if i am in their position how would you feel if you are denied or ignored. things like that. i always think of the giving rather than think negative.
